Keith, who had been trying to coax Amara into a better mood, instantly soured when he heard her words.

Seeing how stubborn Keith was being, Amara grew truly furious.

“I know you mean well, but I want what’s best for you, too! So can’t you listen to me

for once?” Amara shot back, her voice filled with frustration.

As their argument reached a

crescendo, their voices rose. Outside the door, Nora overheard the last

few lines of their dispute, her eyes, wide with shock as she quietly. Backed away.

Nora returned to Liliana’s dressing room, handed her what she needed, and began tidying the table with a troubled mind.

Liliana was also at the event today, and as her assistant, Nora had naturally come along.
