At the entrance to the living room, Hogan and Dorian were helping Finnian see the guests out.

Finnian strode over, and Hogan and Dorian immediately closed in around him, speaking in low voices. “What’s going on? Is it true-Amara’s child is yours?” Hogan whispered.

Dorian was in shock. Amara’s baby was actually Finnian’s?

But the more he thought about it, the less sense it made. Finnian himself didn’t even know about this, and Dorian distinctly remembered that Finnian and Amara had never been together.

He recalled how, when they first found out Amara was pregnant, Finnian had completely lost it for days-precisely because he had never been with Amara, yet Amara had been with someone else.

Standing silently beside them, Hogan didn’t say a word, but kept his eyes fixed intently on Finnian, clearly sharing Dorian’s doubts.

Finnian’s expression grew darker and darker. “I’m not sure what’s going on either,” he muttered. “I’ve tried calling Amara, but she won’t answer. I’ll try again.”

With that, Finnian stepped outside to call Amara once more.

He kept calling, but not only did Amara keep refusing to answer-she actually blocked his number in the end.

When Finnian realized Amara had blocked him, he was genuinely hurt.

No matter how annoyed she’d been with him in the past, Amara had never blocked him before. But today, she’d done it without hesitation. What was going on?

After thinking for a moment, he called Will. “Find out where Amara is right now, and send me her location.” With that, he hung up and went back inside to continue seeing off the guests.

When Edith got home, she threw her purse onto the console in the entryway, angrily kicked off her shoes, and stormed inside.

Nathan was sitting on the couch, reading the newspaper. He looked up and asked, “What’s with you? Who got under your skin?”

Edith sat down on the sofa, still

furious. “You wouldn’t believe what happened today. The moment I got to the Everly estate, I saw Keith inviting Amara to dance. Amara is pregnant, and he’s still dancing with her doesn’t he have any sense of propriety?”

“And tonight was supposed to be the night Emma exposed those photos, let everyone see Amara’s true nature, but then suddenly a maid shows up and drops the hint that Amara’s baby is Finnian’s: Who knows if it’s true or not.”

“If it is true, then that means Amara is carrying her ex-husband’s child while trying to

marry into our family. How could she be so shameless?”

Nathan’s face darkened as well.

Just then, Keith came home. As soon as he walked in, he saw his parents sitting on the sofa, their gazes icy cold. He immediately sensed something was wrong and tried to head for his room.

But Edith stopped him and said sternly, “Keith, let me be clear-you absolutely cannot marry that Amara woman. In fact, the two of you can’t even be friends. End it now. Just thinking about her makes me furious.”
