they would never post a tweet like that without the chairman’s approval. The tweet had to have been posted under Finnian’s direction.

When she was being torn apart on the trending topics before, Finnian had wanted to help her by suppressing it. But after he asked and she refused, he hadn’t dared to

act.

Now he had acted on his own, and Amara was furious.

She could already imagine what would happen now that she was trending with Finnian.

“Hello, Ms. Sullivan? Is something wrong?”

When the call connected, Will’s cautious voice came through the line.

Amara fought back her anger and asked, “I saw the statement from the Everly

Group’s official account. Did your Mr. Everly order that?”

On the other end of the line, in the

chairman’s office, Will stood

nervously in front of the desk

Hearing Ms. Sullivan’s question, Will immediately glanced at Mr. Everly.

When Ms. Sullivan had called, he had been in the middle of a report with Mr. Everly. When Mr. Everly realized who it was, he had told Will to answer, put it on speaker a place it on the desk.

Finnian nodded at him, and Will immediately said, “Yes, it was Mr. Everly’s doing.

He wrote the message himself.”

So it was him!

Amara gritted her teeth. “Please tell

your Mr. Everly to delete that tweet and to stop suppressing the negative comments. I don’t need you to do any of that.”
