Chapter 877
Amara really had a way with words… and she wasn’t wrong.
With looks like hers, the line of men waiting to pursue her could probably loop around Wye three times over. Her logic was flawless.
Still, he had a gut feeling that Finnian would eventually win her over. He could tell Amara still harbored feelings for him.
He just couldn’t understand why, after carrying his child for this long, she remained so stubbornly against being with him.
But there was no point in stressing over it; he’d let Finnian worry about his own
mess.
Back in the hospital room, Liliana had spent the previous night undergoing treatment and had missed Finnian’s Twitter post entirely.
First thing in the morning, she grabbed her phone to check the news, only to be met with the leaked audio and Finnian’s public declaration. She broke down instantly.
So Finnian had confidently declared Amara his future wife? Why was he so insanely fixated on her?
Lately, she had been using his life-saving debt to chain him down, even going so far as staging an accident to fall from the stunt harness.
She had paid such a massive price in a desperate gamble to win back his heart, but it seemed utterly pointless. He was still chasing after Amara like a man possessed. What was she supposed to do now?
Worse still, the entire internet now knew about the life-saving debt, and that his previous relationship with her had been purely out of obligation.
She opened Twitter. Everyone online was tearing her to shreds.
“Liliana was so arrogant before! She literally broadcasted every tiny detail of her wedding prep online. It was like we were watching a livestream of her getting ready to marry bi
And the result? All that scheming for nothing. Finnian never even liked her. Hahaha, this is hilarious!”
“Not just her, but her fans were insufferable too. They were constantly hyping up how beautiful kind-hearted, and talented Liliana was, bragging about how deeply Mr. Everly loved her and how she deserved to be spoiled by such a perfect man. Tums out, he couldn’t care less about her. What a joke.”
“Liliana and her fans deserve everything they’re getting. Let them buy all the PR articles they want, but why did they have to drag Amarise into it?”
“Forget the whole pregnancy out of wedlock thing we don’t know the full story so we shouldn’t judge. But from what we know, Amarise is a decent person. She literally did nothing, so why did she have to deal with Liliana and her minions bullying her?”
These were the more civil comments. The vile, disgusting ones were too repulsive
to even read. Just glancing at them made Liliana tremble with rage.
Staring fixedly at the screen, she
suddenly let out a lunatic shriek and violently hurled the phone across the room Clutching her head, she fungs

before sweeping her arm across the nightstand, sending the flowers, vase, and water glass crashing to the floor. She trashed everything within reach in a furious frenzy.
She was usually a rational, level-headed woman, but this string of catastrophic failures had pushed her past her breaking point.
She had orchestrated her own fall from the stunt harness as a final, desperate play to win Finnian back. Yet she gained nothing and was now the laughingstock of the entire internet.
She was having a total mental breakdown. What was she supposed to do now?
She absolutely refused to give up on Finnian, and she couldn’t bear the public humiliation. What the hell was her next move? Who was going to save her?!
Amara didn’t show up at the set for the entire day, nor did she go home. After leaving the Everly Estate, she headed straight to the Wye Central Library.
