“Mom, I know you’re angry. I’m on my way to grab Natalie and bring her to apologize to Joanna.”
Wendy was shocked. “Jerome, did a donkey kick you in the head? Why are you blaming Natalie for your mistakes? If you hadn’t sent someone to teach her a lesson, none of this would have happened!”
“What did I teach you? You’re the one who did wrong, what does it have to do with Natalie? Jerome, you and Joanna are the culprits. If you dare to go after Natalie, then don’t ever come back to the Scott family. You’d be no better than them, and I wouldn’t care if you lived or died.”

Jerome stood there, momentarily stunned by the lavish office, before remembering why he had come. “Natalie,” he roared, “you’re coming with me to the hospital to give blood.”
“Luna,” Natalie said, her voice like ice.
Luna moved swiftly, leaping into the air and delivering a powerful kick to Jerome’s stomach.
