Chapter 836
Chapter 836
“I’ll get on it right away. How have the last couple of days been? Are you having fun?” Luna asked.
Thinking of Sebastian outside the door, Natalie couldn’t feel happy at all.
She never imagined she would run into the ever-busy Sebastian.
And now she couldn’t get rid of him.
“It’s been okay. Hurry up with the investigation, and remember to cover your tracks. Joanna is extremely vicious. If she finds even the slightest clue, she’ll immediately suspect you, and you’ll be in danger p>
“Joanna’s secret company is full of top talent. Give me some more time, and I’ll find them all. Then you can continue your investigation p>
Joanna was very good at winning people over, and even better at buying their loyalty.
In his past life, lan helped Joanna build her empire, only to meet a tragic end. This time, she had found lan early. She wondered which unlucky soul had become her pawn now.
She could save one person, but she couldn’t save them all.
Luna laughed. “I’ve been investigating her for a while now. I know what to do, don’t worry. You just focus on relaxing. I’ll call you as soon as I have anything p>
“Okay.” Natalie hung up.
She sat on the bed. Sebastian reporting Joanna?
That was so shocking it was almost laughable.
Knock, knock p>
Natalie’s head snapped toward the door, where Sebastian’s tall figure stood.
Her brow furrowed. “Why haven’t you left yet p>
Her cold tone made Sebastian’s eyes narrow slightly, a dangerous glint in them.
He pushed the door open and walked in, sitting on the edge of the bed.
He was beside her before she even had time to stand up.
Natalie could feel the anger radiating off him.
“What do you want?” she asked, defensively.
First thing tomorrow morning, she was packing her things and leaving.
Sebastian sat beside her, his long arm wrapping around her waist, pulling her forcefully into his embrace.
Natalie hated when he did this. They were supposed to be getting a divorce, so why did he have to be so close?
“Mr. Griffith, this isn’t right. We’re getting a divorce. Please, stay away from me p>
As her cold words fell, a tense atmosphere filled the air.
Sebastian’s eyes were dark, his body radiating an anger and an undeniable power
as he pushed her down onto the bed with a gentle yet firm force.
His cold eyes stared into hers, his breathing ragged. Their gazes locked Natalie was tense, while Sebastian’s eyes swirled with desire. In that moment, it felt as if they were the only two people in the world p>
Sebastian, who was always in control, was now on the verge of losing it.
“Natalie, do you have to provoke me? Do you know how serious the consequences are when you make me angry? Sebastian’s voice was urgent, filled with a thick rage that threatened to consume his reason.
Pinned beneath him, Natalie’s body tensed. She instinctively put her hands up to block him, her beautiful eyes wide with alarm “Sebastian,
off! Don’t touch met
“Not touch you? Then tell me, who are you saving yourself for? Matthew? Marshall?
Or that college student, hmm p>
His last syllable rose, his anger palpable.
He was furious that Natalie was constantly keeping him at a distance.
Natalie had never seen Sebastian like this, like a madman.
She pushed against him with all her might. “Get off me! I’m saving myself for my
future husband, and that’s not you p>
That sentence was the final straw for Sebastian.
