Sean rolled his eyes. The classic trifecta of a professional victim: crying, fighting, and threatening suicide.
“Mr. Scott, you should probably call a doctor. Our boss isn’t one.”
“Cut the crap, Sean,” Nathan snapped. “You tell Sebastian that Joanna tried to kill herself because of him. He needs to get to the hospital, now. I’m sending you the address.” He hung up.
Sean looked at Sebastian. “Boss, it was Mr. Scott. Ms. Scott tried to commit suicide… because of you.”

He received the hospital address and headed to the underground parking garage with Sebastian.

“Mr. Monroe, your car is here. You should get to your meeting. I’ll call you later,” she said, her voice warm.
Matthew looked at her with concern. “Natalie, maybe I should stay with you.”
“It’s fine, I can handle it,” she said with a reassuring smile. “And the steak this morning was delicious. Thank you.”
Matthew was pleased she liked it. “If you like it, I’ll bring you some more tomorrow. It was sent from abroad; it’s the best quality.”
