Natalie looked at him, her eyes lighting up. “About the divorce?”

Sebastian choked on his words, his tone heavy. “Natalie, I’ve told you, we’re husband and wife. A divorce is impossible.”

Natalie glared at him. “You rotten bastard, have you no conscience? I took care of you like a maid for two years, and now that I want a divorce, you pull this on me. Just sign the papers and stop getting in my way of finding a younger man.”

Natalie decided that speaking to him nicely was getting her nowhere.

Sebastian’s anger flared. “Natalie, are you that desperate for a man? Is it because I didn’t satisfy you during our marriage that you’re now so empty you need to find someone else?” In his rage, Sebastian spoke without thinking.

Natalie shot him a disdainful look. “Mr. Griffith, I should thank you for not touching me. If you had, I probably would have thrown up everything I’ve ever eaten.”

“After all, Joanna has slept with everyone from Mr. Wilson to common thugs. If you had slept with me, I’d probably be disgusted with myself for the rest of my life.”

Seeing Sebastian, Keith didn’t press the issue and simply nodded.

After Natalie left, Sebastian turned to Keith. “Mr. Jones, about what we discussed earlier…”

“Mr. Griffith, I’ve thought it over. I agree to the collaboration.”

Sebastian smiled faintly. “Good. Let’s have dinner sometime to discuss the contract.”

Keith replied, “Sounds good. I’ll head back upstairs now. Take care, Mr. Griffith.”

Once Keith was gone, Sebastian went after Natalie.

She was just about to get into her car when Sebastian grabbed her arm.

Natalie looked down at his hand on her arm, then back up at his face.

Her eyes flashed with disgust. “What do you think you’re doing? Let go of me.”

Sebastian pulled her toward his car.

With a sharp bang, the car door slammed shut.
