Chapter 478

“Natalie didn’t use my money to buy the land. She left with nothing. Didn’t Joanna tell you that?”

Sebastian’s voice was ice-cold. Even through the phone, Colin felt a chill run down his spine, though he had no idea which of his words had provoked Sebastian.

Colin asked, confused, “Sebastian, could she have secretly embezzled money from your company? Or maybe she took one of your credit cards when she left?”

“Colin, if you’re not going to use your brain, I suggest you get it checked out. When she left, she walked straight out of your Scott family home. I give Joanna five million a month in spending money; I never gave Natalie a single cent. There aren’t many people like you in the world,” Sebastian added, implying only the Scotts could be so shameless.

“Colin, Natalie was good to you, too. When you were in the hospital with a high fever, none of your family would stay with you. Only she was willing to watch over you, taking care of you for three days and three nights without leaving your side. And this is how you treat her?”

Colin paused. He had long forgotten about that, though it seemed there were other instances as well.

“Sebastian, she left me to rot last night! Natalie may look innocent, but she’s a vicious snake. I don’t acknowledge a sister like her. I’m trying to talk about something important here. Joanna wants that land. Figure something out. If she can’t get it, she’ll start crying again, and you know you can’t stand to see her cry.” On Sebastian’s end, the line went dead.

Colin was taken aback. Sebastian had always doted on Joanna. Why would he suddenly hang up on him?

He tried calling again, but Sebastian didn’t answer.

Colin was shocked. Had the meal ticket finally woken up?

He thought back to those three days and nights he was sick. Joanna had been practicing the piano, and he hadn’t wanted to bother her. But Natalie was used to hard work since childhood, so what was the big deal about her taking care of him for three days?

Since he couldn’t get through to Sebastian, he decided to wait by the door for Natalie.

A few minutes later, he saw Natalie and Mr. Woodard emerge.

After Mr. Woodard left, Colin ran over and blocked Natalie’s path.

He looked

down at her with an

arrogant, commanding tone.

“Natalie Joanna wants the land you just bought if you give it to her 1 go home and convince Mom and Dad to let you back into the Scott family.”

Natalie pressed her lips together, looking at him as if he were a complete moron.

“Natalie, you… don’t get too cocky. Without the protection of the Scott family…”

Colin’s brow arched, a mocking smile on his face. “I hear you’re a designer now. What if I were to go and report you for being a cruel and heartless…”

“Pfft…” Natalie chuckled, cutting him off. Her eyes were haughty, her tone lazy, as if mocking his ignorance. “Colin, latready told you last night, you can go and announce it to the world. Besides, I have no relationship with your fan

anymore, and I don’t want to see any of you ever again.”

Under the morning sun, her posture was relaxed, yet her aura was icy and intimidating.

Colin truly felt that Natalie had changed, becoming someone untouchable.

He stood in her way. “No. You’re not leaving today until you give that land to Joanna!”
