Chapter 864
Chapter 864
Joanna chased after Sebastian, unwilling to give up.
But Sean blocked her path with a smile. “Ms. Scott, our CEO has an important meeting. Please go no further p>
“Sean, you have no right to stop me. Get out of my way p>
Joanna was furious. How dare Sebastian abandon her?
Even if she didn’t love him, he was supposed to give her everything.
If Sebastian continued to act this way, she would go to his rival.
She still hadn’t had a chance to arrange the hypnosis, and now Sebastian refused to dine alone with her.
So what if she had been pregnant with another man’s child?
In this day and age, what girl saves herself for one man?
It was the 21st century, but Sebastian was still so ridiculously old-fashioned.
No wonder, being raised by that old fossil. His ideas were just as antiquated.
“Sean, go tell Sebastian that his attitude today has made me very angry. If he doesn’t apologize, I will never forgive him p>
She had used this tactic before, and it always worked.
Sebastian would finish his work and immediately come looking for her.
And then, she could viciously provoke Natalie again.
The sight of Natalie looking sad, angry, and helpless was always so satisfying.
Sean was speechless.
Where did this woman get the audacity to say something like that? Before, she could get away with it because the CEO doted on her. But now that he didn’t, saying such things… she had some serious nerve.
Not even a pie was as big as her ego.
She hadn’t even rested properly after her recent miscarriage. Didn’t she ever get tired?
But to keep her from causing a scene, he reluctantly agreed.
“Ms. Scott, I’ll pass your message on to the CEO p>
He then hurried away.
Joanna was so angry she started to cry.
*Sebastian, if you won’t love me, then I will utterly destroy you p>
Joanna watched until the doors to Sebastian’s private elevator closed before she finally left.
Inside the elevator, Sean told
Sebastian, “Sir, Ms. Scott said that if
you don’t go and apologize to her,
she will never
never, forgive you for what
happened today.” fo
Sebastian frowned, his voice cold. “Is she out of her mind p>
Sean shook his head, looking bewildered. “How would I know if she’s lost her mind p>
Sebastian said nothing more. When the elevator reached the top floor, he strode
out.
Once in his office, he said, “Monitor
Joanna’s every move. She’s going to make a lot of them. There are no
valuable clues on her phone, which means she probably has another
one Nora is our best lead right now p>
“Have our people tail her and Nora. Also, investigate the list of partners associated
with Nora’s company. I want it within three days p>
Sean jotted down his instructions.
“Yes, sir. I’ve got it all down p>
Sebastian nodded. “Push the meeting back an hour. I’m going to rest for a bit p>
Seeing that he was in a good mood, Sean smiled and quickly left. Sebastian was in a good mood, and Natalie was enjoying her life too. Sebastian sat on the sofa, took out his phone, and called a friend overseas. Spending hundreds of millions just to see Joanna’s true colors. What a waste. He, Sebastian, was no saint, and he hated being deceived more than anything. “Sebastian, to what do I owe the pleasure?” the person on the other end said with a thick accent.
Sebastian smiled. “Hemer, I need you to design a one-of-a-kind diamond ring for my wife and me p>
Hemer was surprised. “Mr. Griffith, you have a wife p>
Vel
Thinking of Natalie’s expressive face, a faint smile touched Sebastian’s lips. “I do. I’ll introduce you someday, I’ll be sourcing the diamond for the ring myself p>
