Chapter 712
Natalie thought for a moment, then got into the car parked by the curb.
She looked at Luna and said, “Luna, follow Sophia. Something happened to Mrs. Wilson. I rescued her this morning. I suspect Sophia and Mr. Wilson did it. It’s possible they worked together to kill her p>
She had tried to warn Mrs. Wilson last night, but the woman had been too busy.
Luna remembered the events of last night’s banquet and was shocked. “Natalie, if they did that, aren’t they afraid of being suspected p>
Natalie smiled grimly. “Without evidence, suspicion means nothing. People like Joanna and Nathan are shameless. As long as there’s no proof, no one can touch them p>
Luna knew that people like Joanna were capable of anything if there was something to gain.
Luna started the car and followed Sophia’s vehicle. Nathan got in with Sophia, and they drove off together.
Luna said, “Natalie, it looks like they’re heading home p>
Natalie knew it would be useless to follow them there.
“Never mind, don’t follow them,” she said.
Just then, her phone rang.
Natalie picked it up and saw it was Marshall.
“Hello, Marshall p>
“Natalie, have you seen the news? Everyone’s saying you killed Mrs. Wilson! What’s going on? These rumors are insane p>
Natalie was stunned. “What p>
“Natalie, you were in my room the whole time last night. How could you have killed Mrs. Wilson? Someone is trying to frame you,” Marshall said, his voice filled with worry.
Natalie’s grip on her phone
tightened. “Marshall, don’t get

“Okay, don’t worry,” Marshall replied. “I’ll keep an eye on that punk for you p>
After hanging up, Natalie checked the push notifications from Yaro News.

Yeri stood up and bowed deeply to the camera.
Below the video, the comments were filled with insults directed at Natalie.
But Natalie wasn’t a celebrity, so the public outcry didn’t have much direct impact on
her.
However, Joanna was Sebastian’s fiancée, and that connection alone was enough for online mobs to try and tear Natalie apart.
