Chapter 573
Chapter 573
Zenobia’s back was aching, so she walked around the living room to relieve the discomfort.
The baby moved occasionally, and Zenobia smiled. Such a sleepyhead.
Being pregnant and giving birth in the middle of winter was exhausting, but she was still filled with anticipation.
Her baby. She would give her baby all the love in the world.
Fortunately, the hospital was right across the street and had good medical facilities, which was why she chose to give birth here.
Natalie turned to look at Zenobia. “Zenobia, if you’re not feeling well, you should go lie down for a bit. Looking at your belly, I’d say the baby will be born either tonight or tomorrow morning p>
Zenobia smiled. “Okay, Natalie. My back is really sore, so I’ll go rest for a while. Help yourself to anything you want to eat p>
Natalie said, “Alright! Don’t worry about me. I’ll make myself at home p>
Zenobia then happily went to rest.
Natalie finished washing the dishes, dried her hands, and felt her phone vibrate. She picked it up and saw it was another unknown number.
Natalie frowned. Could it be Sebastian again?
“Hello p>
“Come out. I need to talk to you.” Sebastian’s low, hoarse voice came through the phone, leaving no room for argument.
Natalie raised an eyebrow. Was this guy sleep-talking in the middle of the day?
He really was as bossy as ever.
Natalie chuckled and asked, “Where to p>
Sebastian’s voice was still raspy. “The restaurant next to my company. I’ll wait for you there p>
Natalie replied, “Okay. I’ll be right over p>
Natalie hung up the phone.
She smiled slyly. Sebastian, let him wait. Let him experience for himself how agonizing it was for me to wait for him.
Natalie went back to her room to pack her luggage.
After she finished packing, she noticed the snow outside had stopped. In the distance, the ocean waves were large and powerful.
Natalie felt a sense of awe. She changed into some comfortable clothes.
Then she took out her tablet to work, dealing with the emails Keith had sent her. Afterward, she opened her tablet and started watching a TV series.
Sebastian had arrived at the restaurant early. He waited for Natalie for an hour, but she never showed up.
He rarely waited for anyone, and doing so made him incredibly irritable.
He picked up his phone and checked the time. An hour and twenty minutes had passed.
Remembering how Natalie used to wait for him for hours at night, he forced himself to be patient.
When the waiter came over for the second time to ask if he wanted to order, he glanced at the time again. It had been two hours.
Sebastian couldn’t wait any longer. He had an important meeting soon.
He called Natalie again.
Natalie was engrossed in a drama
series. She was aware that in two years the film and television industry would be heavily impacted by short-form videos.
She was already keeping a close eye on this market. Once the project in Nayn was
completed, she would start making preparations.
Lost in thought, Natalie was startled by her phone ringing.
Seeing the familiar number, she finally remembered Sebastian.
Natalie put her tablet down and answered the call.
“Hello p>
“Natalie, why aren’t you here yet?” Sebastian’s voice was growing impatient.
Natalie smiled, then poured a bucket of cold water on him. “Sebastian, it’s snowing so heavily and it’s too cold outside stepped out for a look and then went right back in don’t want to catch a cold. Why are you still ať the restaurant? It’s not like you to wait for me. I figured you’d have left long ago p>
Natalie looked out the window at the misty sky, which cast a gloomy shadow over her heart. There’s no such thing as not having enough time, only people you don’t want to meet.
Every choice is a reflection of the heart’s true desires.
Sebastian took a deep breath, suppressing his anger. “Natalie, are you doing this on
purpose p>
