Chapter 986
Chapter 986
Natalie shook her head. “There’s no need, Luna. It’s just a minor fracture in my lower leg. I’ll be fine after a few days of rest. You should go get some sleep. You have more to do than I do. Go find a few trustworthy bodyguards to stay by your side. We have a tough fight ahead, especially tomorrow morning. Arrange for twenty bodyguards to be there p>
“There are definitely people loyal to Joanna and the others in the company. We should use this chance to purge the ranks p>
“Also, have Keith mobilize everyone to find Sebastian. He’s still alive. We have to find him and Sean p>
Luna understood. She was extremely worried about Sean. “Okay, Natalie. I’ll get your toothpaste first, then I’ll take care of everything else. You focus on recovering. Things at the Griffith Group are already being handled p>
As long as Natalie was okay, she had her rock.
Luna helped Natalie run the bath and squeezed toothpaste onto her brush before leaving.
Natalie added a few drops of rose essential oil to the water before sinking into the tub, resting her injured leg on the edge.
She didn’t soak for long. Ten minutes later, she got out, put on her clothes, and washed her hair. By the time she had dried her hair and finished her skincare routine, an hour had passed.
She opened the bathroom door and looked at the cold, empty bedroom, a complex mix of emotions welling up inside her.
The truth she had unearthed today had shattered her reality, leaving a jagged void in its wake.
She got into her wheelchair and went to bed. Climbing onto the soft, large mattress, she knew she had made the right choice to stay here. For one, Joanna didn’t know about this place, so she would be safe for a few days.
Secondly, if Sebastian was still alive, he would definitely come here.
Lying in bed, Natalie, who usually fell asleep in seconds, couldn’t seem to drift off tonight.
She took out her phone and scrolled through the photos and videos she had saved -the ones Joanna had sent her.
In them, the man was holding Joanna, their intimacy clear. Yet his expression and the look in his eyes were exactly like Sebastian’s. She truly never imagined they weren’t the same person.
Sebastian didn’t have a twin brother, older or younger. His mother had only given birth to him.
How could they be identical, right down to the last gesture? Was he some kind of surgically perfected double?
Impossible. The man with Joanna was flesh and blood; he was a real person. Natalie knew it couldn’t be that simple.
If she hadn’t carefully listened to the tone of their voices, she never would have realized that the man today
an impostor.
Natalie thought about the divorce decree from that day and sighed. Regardless, she and Sebastian were truly divorced.
She was genuinely surprised that Sebastian was willing to give her everything.
The thought of her newfound financial power brought a fleeting sense of satisfaction.
But she didn’t want it. She would
enjoy it while it lasted, but once Sebastian returned, she would give She couldn’t

In this life or the next, she never wanted to owe him anything again.
Her mind raced with these thoughts until she finally fell asleep.
But the light in her room stayed on all night.
Outside the villa.
Inside the warm, luxurious SUV, the heat was cranked up.
Sebastian and Sean sat inside.
ซ
Sebastian was severely injured. When the car was pushed into the pushed into the ocean, his existing wounds had worsened considerably.
Now, he leaned weakly against the seat.
His gaze remained anchored to the soft glow in Natalie’s window—the only light in his now shattered world.
His whole body ached. If Natalie were by his side, she wouldn’t let him be in so much pain.
Sean turned to look at him. “Sir, let’s go back and rest. You need to recover so you can help the madam p>
