Chapter 594
Chapter 594
Hearing the urgency in Jerome’s low voice, Yvonne knew he cared about Zenobia and the child.
“Jerome, Zenobia was completely devoted to you, even willing to have your child. Didn’t Natalie tell you? She was at the hospital with Zenobia for the birth. Look at how pathetic your life is. Your adopted sister schemes against you, your biological sister hides things from you, and even the woman who loved you most abandoned you to have the child on her own. Your life is a complete failure p>
Jerome roared in fury, “Yvonne, cut the crap! Where is Zenobia p>
“Hah. After you hurt her so deeply, you think you can just find her now? Do you think she’ll forgive you? Jerome, you’ve always been a shameless bastard with a terrible character. If it weren’t to make you the father of my child, do you think I would have bothered with a fool like you? You’re unbelievably stupid p>
“You ignore your own sister but dote on the vicious Joanna. I think you two are probably having an affair. Otherwise, why would you be so biased toward her p>
“Yvonne, shut your mouth! If you want me to get you out of here, tell me where Zenobia is p>
That was exactly what Yvonne was waiting for. “Get me out of here first, and then I’ll tell you where she is p>
But Jerome asked, “Sir, could you please tell me the address of your police station? I’ll come over right now p>
Yvonne was stunned. What was happening?
How did that fool Jerome react so quickly?
He said he was coming over now. Did that mean he wasn’t out of the country?
Jacob replied, “Soha Island Police Department p>
Jerome said, “Thank you. But I’m not her family. Sir, please have her find someone else p>
With that, Jerome hung up.
Yvonne was speechless.
Jerome had abandoned her.
“Ahhh!” she screamed, completely breaking down.
Jacob said, “Alright. Since no one is coming to handle this for you, the hearing will begin at nine p>
Yvonne froze. She thought of Joanna. It was a long shot, but she had to try.
“My sister! I have a sister!” Yvonne shouted frantically.
Jacob watched her performance and handed her a phone. She quickly dialed Joanna’s number.
“Hello?” The call wasn’t from Yvonne’s phone, so Joanna answered without suspicion.
“Hello p>
Yvonne glanced at Jacob. Jacob deliberately stepped away; the phone had an automatic listening function. To extract more secrets from this woman, he turned and left the room.
“Joanna, save me. I’m pregnant now. Can you please bail me out p>
“What?” Joanna asked. “What did you do? How did you end up at the police station p>
“It’s Zenobia. She was pregnant, and she gave birth on the island. Natalie
is here with her. I was going to
kidnap her baby to threaten her for
money, but Thever expected Ã
mistake to happen. I’ve been
arrested. Please, come bail me out p>
“I’ll tell you where Zenobia is. You don’t want that child coming back to threaten your position, do you p>
Yvonne didn’t know if this threat would work on Joanna, but she had no other options.
Joanna laughed coldly. “Yvonne,
have you been hiding away to
protect your pregnancy? Haven’t you been reading the news? The Don Group has gone bankrupt. Wendy now a billion dollars in debt. If you want to come back and help her pay it off, I suggest you go find Jerome and get married tomorrow p>
“What? Joanna, you succeeded? You successfully took over the entire Don Group p>
Yvonne realized with a jolt just how terrifying Joanna’s methods were.
She had achieved her goals in such a short time.
Joanna was truly fearsome.
“Yvonne, I should thank you for distracting derome. But no, I won’t be bailing you out. In fact, I’ll be giving the police evidence of another person you killed. Your call to me
was just an invitation for me to send you to hell. Haha p>
