Sebastian stepped closer, his voice softening. “Your arm is badly injured. Why aren’t you getting treated at the hospital? Why did you come back?”

Natalie was surprised that Sebastian would show concern for her.

She laughed mockingly. “Tsk! I once had a fever so high I couldn’t even get up, and when I asked you to get me some medicine, you said I was being troublesome. Joanna called, and you left. Sebastian strode forward, blocking her path. “Natalie, stop this. I was wrong about what happened before. Now that I know the truth, I won’t treat you like that anymore…”

Natalie cut him off coldly. “Sorry, I don’t believe a word you say. Didn’t you just abandon me on the highway today? You’re still treating me the exact same way.”

“That’s because you said you were going to find other men…”

“You can go find Joanna, so why can’t I? Sebastian, don’t push it. I’m already letting you two be together. Please, just get out of my life. I really, truly won’t bother you anymore. I’m really, truly happy to set you free.”

Before, she couldn’t let go of Sebastian. He had saved her life, and aside from the Joanna issue, he wasn’t a bad person.

But the person she couldn’t stand the most was that wicked woman, Joanna.

Of the four Scott siblings, Colin and Benson were the most useless.

“You’re injured now. I’ll take care of you.”

“I know. But Grandma saw the news about your accident and insisted I come and

take care of you. Otherwise, she won’t be able to sleep tonight.”
