Chapter 981

“Get out of my way. I’m still your mother, and I’m old now. I don’t get involved in your business, so stay out of mine p>

Timothy didn’t move, so Madam Griffith poked him.

“Move. I may have given birth to you, but get out of the way p>

Timothy was at a loss for words.

Her way of speaking was getting more and more p>

Timothy took a deep breath.

“Mother, just stay here. If Natalie is worried about you, she can come here and stay with you p>

“Well, well! You really know what to say, don’t you? Fine, this works. It saves me the trouble of moving around. Since you all don’t want the old estate, I’ll just keep living here p>

“Your son is getting married. As his father, you can handle his marital home and all that p>

Madam Griffith suddenly felt a weight off her shoulders.

Timothy was speechless.

He felt like such a failure.

He couldn’t even win an argument with his own mother.

If he had to say who in this world was best to him?

It was Madam Griffith standing before him.

He was prone to illness as a child, and his mother had done everything she could, searching high and low for the best doctors to nurse him back to health.

If he had to acknowledge a mother, he would only ever acknowledge the one in front of him.

“Mother, if you don’t like it here, how about I arrange another place for you to live?” Timothy said, moved by his own thoughts and becoming even more respectful toward Madam Griffith.

Madam Griffith waved her hand dismissively, a look of disgust on her face. “No, no. Your little mistresses have stayed in your houses. I find them filthy p>

Timothy was furious. “Mother, do you have to bring that up? Everyone knows about it. What’s wrong with me Having a little for? I’m almos fifty. If only live to seventy, I only have twenty years left. Mother, life is short. You have to enjoy it while you can. How can that be wrong p>

Madam Griffith shook her head helplessly, her tone dripping with sarcasm. “You… I’m just afraid you’ll catch something while you’re out ‘enjoying’ yourself. I’m an old woman. Do you expect me to bury my own son p>

“Mother Timothy’s voice trembled with a hint of pleading.

Timothy finally snapped. A thunderous rage clouded his features, his brow furrowed with lethal intent.

“Oh, my! Look at you, getting angry? Your old mother is just speaking the plain truth. You should think long and hard about all the foolish things

you’ve done, Madam Griffith sa

not backing down an inch as she stared at him sharply.

Timothy wanted to erupt, but he knew he had to keep up the appearance of a devoted son for his career to continue smoothly.

He squeezed his eyes shut, suppressing the rage in his heart. “Mother, I’m leaving now. I bought

you those exclusif

you like Please, take care of

yourself, eat well, and

eatwell, and live a long life

so your son can properly take care

of you p>

“Heh Madam Griffith let out a dry laugh. “You’re such a loyal son. They say having a devoted family is the secret to a long life. Don’t you worry, your old mother will live to be a hundred p>

She pointed toward the door. “Take your son and daughter-in-law and go. Sebastian is very capable. With you around, he can still make a comeback p>

Maxwell Griffith started to say something, but Timothy stopped him with a look. “Let’s go. You’re the one who signed it, so you have to live with it p>

Maxwell Griffith knew he had to endure it for now and make plans when they got back. He would get all his property back.

He shot Natalie a venomous glare before walking out.
