Chapter 794
Chapter 794
Horace shouted, “Colin, what are you doing out there? Get in here and help me take your sister to the hospital! She fainted p>
Only then did Colin pretend to look worried and rush inside. “Joanna, Joanna, what’s wrong? Why did you suddenly pass out p>
Horace yelled, “Cut the crap and help me get her to the hospital! If anything happens to Ms. Scott, I’ll have your head p>
Colin looked at the frantic Horace. He’d always wondered why Horace was so completely devoted to Joanna. Now he understood: they were the same kind of people, equally ruthless.
Moreover, Horace clearly had feelings for Joanna. He was always smiling whenever he saw her, and the way he looked at her was different.
Colin bent down and lifted Joanna onto his back.
Horace, ever attentive, grabbed a blanket from the sofa, draped it over Joanna, and followed them to the hospital.
Colin drove Joanna to the nearest hospital and then went to handle the payment. On his way to the billing office, Colin sent a text to Natalie from an unknown number.
[Natalie, the Don Group, which Joanna acquired, is now an empty shell, and her stocks have tanked. The double blow made her faint. She’s in the hospital now p>
Natalie was having barbecue with her two best friends on the sixth floor. When she saw the message from an unknown number, she smiled, knowing exactly who it was from.
It was Colin.
Natalie showed the phone to Susan and Zenobia. “See? Joanna fainted. She schemed against Wendy, the woman who raised her, and now she’s getting what she deserves p>
Susan and Zenobia were shocked when they read the message.
Zenobia found it hard to believe. “Was it really Joanna who did it p>
Natalie nodded with certainty. “Yes p>
Zenobia was furious. Thinking of how much Wendy had doted on Joanna over the years, she felt Wendy had truly raised an ungrateful snake.
Wendy had always had the highest hopes for Joanna. And Joanna had lived up to them, winning numerous awards. She was considered an outstanding student in college, and her thesis passed on the first try.
“Why did Joanna turn out this way? Mrs. Scott, her four brothers, and Sebastian all gave her the greatest affection. Sebastian even hurt you multiple times for her sake p>
“She was basically a princess raised in a castle. Even I was sometimes envious of how her four brothers protected her p>
“And Sebastian… he guarded her so carefully, afraid she’d get even a single scratch. I remember there
was a huge snowstorm the year net
before fast, and Joanna was on her period and had cramps. Sebastian stayed in her room with her the entire night Content bétongs
“Zenobia p>
Susan quickly cut her off, reminding her that Natalie was sitting right there.
Zenobia immediately realized her mistake and looked at Natalie apologetically. “Natalie, I’m sorry. I know you two haven’t p>
Natalie just waved her hand and
smiled nonchalantly. “It’s fine. I don’t have any feelings for Sebastian anymore. Once I get the divorce papers I’ll be completely free. You can talk freely. That stuff doesn’t Kur me anymore wouldnt care if he carried Joanna on his back and spoiled her rotten. What I care about is becoming a rich woman p>
Susan and Zenobia saw her carefree smile, but their hearts ached for her. They both knew how much Natalie had loved Sebastian.
Zenobia said, “Natalie, you’re still young. You’ll meet someone better p>
“Of course. I’ll meet someone wonderful, someone who will cherish me completely.” Natalie always held onto that hope, believing that fate would eventually grant her some good luck.
