Chapter 812
Chapter 812
The boy looked at the sudden appearance of Sebastian, whose commanding presence was intimidating.
He looked at Natalie in surprise. She seemed so young and vibrant; he couldn’t guess her age, but she definitely looked too young to be married.
The boy smiled and asked, “Mister, aren’t you being a little overbearing? We’re kindred spirits, perfect dance partners. What’s wrong with exchanging numbers? Don’t tell me you’re one of those guys who has to control his wife and keep her from having any male friends after getting married p>
The word “Mister” made Sebastian’s face darken. Standing next to this boy, who looked to be in his late teens, Sebastian’s mature features did make him seem like he was from an older generation.
The boy raised an eyebrow at Sebastian.
Sebastian turned to Natalie. “You want to give him your number p>
Natalie was bewildered. “Look, this was just a spur-of-the-moment thing. I wanted to dance. We were just having a normal interaction, not the sordid scenario you’re imagining. Getting his number just means we could dance together again sometime, since we have good chemistry p>
She had no idea where he had even come from. She hadn’t seen him there just a moment ago.
Sebastian’s expression was grim. Her comment about their chemistry infuriated him. His voice was low. “Let’s go p>
He grabbed Natalie’s hand and pulled her away.
The boy watched Natalie’s retreating back with a hint of regret. “What a shame. She’s such a talented dancer. If she joined our crew, we’d definitely take first place in the year-end competition p>
“It’s no big deal, boss. With your resources, you can find out who she is. The girl had a great figure, a pretty face, and amazing moves. She’s outstanding in every way. We’re decent guys. Even if she’s married, we wouldn’t do anything out of line. That guy looked at us like we were criminals p>
Another member of the crew stepped forward, his face also full of regret.
The boy smiled. “It’s fine. If it’s meant to be, we’ll meet again p>
Sebastian dragged Natalie all the way back to her room.
Zenobia and Susan were shocked to run into that jerk Sebastian in a place meant for young people.
Zenobia was confused. “What is Sebastian doing here p>
Susan pointed to The Griffith Group logo on the elevator.
Zenobia understood instantly. “This is Sebastian’s territory p>
“Looks like it,” Susan said.
Zenobia was certain it was. “Is Natalie in danger? Sebastian looked really angry p>
Zenobia was worried about Natalie. Susan was too, since Natalie always ended up getting bullied by Sebastian.
When Zenobia realized she still had Natalie’s phone, she grew even more anxious.
“Susan, we have to go check on her If Sebastian hits Natalie, we need to be there to help. Her phone
We won’t even be able to
me,
call the police p>
Susan became frantic at the thought. “Okay, okay, we’re almost there p>
When the elevator doors opened, they bolted towards Natalie’s room.
Susan knocked rapidly on the door, but there was no answer. “Knock, knock p>
Zenobia was on the verge of tears,
her eyes well Maybe they didnt. “Maybe thereét
Somewhere else
come back here p>
They had left in such a rush that they hadn’t seen where Sebastian had taken Natalie.
Susan leaned against the door,
trying to comfort Zenobia. “Zenobia,
it’s okay, it’s okay. Sebastian probably wouldn’t dare do anything to Natalie. The last couple of times
I’ve seen him feel like he’s changed:
a bit. He seems to care about Natalie now p>
Zenobia scoffed. “Affection this late is worthless p>
