The money was deposited into his account every month, but he spent it all. He had recently gotten a girlfriend, which left him with even fewer savings.

Natalie laughed, exasperated. It was truly laughable for someone his age to be so immature.
Actually, she found herself quite laughable too. She had thrown away her own life for the sake of a cheap imitation of family affection.

“Natalie, don’t be so vicious!” Colin saw the seriousness in Natalie’s eyes, and panic set in.
“Oh? So not saving you is vicious? But when you were hitting me, cursing me, you didn’t think you were being vicious?”
“When you were about to hand me over to these men to be violated, you didn’t think you were being vicious then?”
“Colin, I’ve recorded everything that happened tonight. After the race, I’ll hand the recording over to the police. I will press charges for your attempt to have me assaulted.”

Natalie had really changed. He knew she craved the affection of the Scott family, which was why she had endured their relentless abuse.
But they only wanted the outstanding Joanna as their sister. Natalie would never be good enough.

Taylor laughed arrogantly, every bit
the spoiled heir. “Alright! Ms.
Sanders, pick any car you want over there you will give you the land. If you lose, I want you to be my secret lover for year.”
Natalie nodded. “Fine. I agree.”
She pointed to a blue and a red car. “I’ll take the red one.”
Taylor sneered. “Don’t you know that’s the worst car in the lot?”
Natalie didn’t say a word, just gave Taylor a bright smile and walked towards the car.
Someone whistled, and everyone settled in to watch the show.
“Such a beautiful girl. It would be a real shame if she got into an accident and died.” Colin’s face was grim. “She’s vicious. It would be better if she died!”
