Nathan knew his own limitations. “Mom, do you really think I can manage a company that big? There’s too much involved. Everyone knows I’m her husband, but no one gives me the time of day. They want a leader with real power. What do I have? Just stop adding to the chaos. I’ll give you fifty thousand dollars. You can go shopping with your friends tomorrow.”
