Chapter 746
Chapter 746
Sebastian gave a bitter laugh. “Sean, are you getting dumber? Do you think that old fox would keep that kind of information on his phone? He sleeps with a different woman every night. You think he’d be careless enough to store important files on his phone p>
He found it disgusting even to sit at the same dinner table with Timothy.
After all his grand proposals and public declarations of love, his father still spent his nights partying and sleeping around.
And yet, as much as he despised Timothy, he had become the very same kind of
man.
He had ignored his own wife while giving another woman five million dollars a month in spending money.
Sebastian closed his eyes, a bitter taste in his mouth.
He’d made his bed, and now he had to lie in it.
“We wait,” he finally said after a long silence.
Sean understood. For now, waiting was their only option. He knew about the other man’s existence, but there were no leads. Joanna, on the other hand, was constantly making a scene. If she kept it up, she was bound to show her true colors eventually.
He was determined to be there when she did.
While some cried and others schemed, Natalie was smiling, but Joanna was in tears.
The internet was buzzing with news of her and Robert. Public opinion had turned, with everyone defending Sebastian, while she was being labeled a promiscuous woman that everyone condemned.
She had just tried calling Robert, but he’d hung up on her.
“Damn it, Robert! How dare he not answer my calls p>
Joanna was fuming, her eyes red with rage, when Colin returned with a bubble tea for her.
The sight of him was irritating. He was an eyesore. With a sneer, she walked up and slapped him across the face.
The sound echoed in the room.
“You’re useless! All you’re good for is running errands. What else can you do? Keeping you around is an insult to my eyes. You’re just a pathetic, useless piece of trash p>
A murderous glint flashed in Colin’s eyes, but he kept a placating look on his face. “Joanna, what’s wrong? le know I’m useless, but I’m doing. everything I can to help you, right? You said you wanted bubble tea, and I want to get it for you right away Look how much it’s showing outside. When we were kids, I used to carry you on my back to buy you bubble tea just like this p>
“Don’t you dare bring that up. All it took was a little manipulation, and you were licking my boots like a dog, hurting Natalie until she was broken. I have no use for you anymore, but if you want to stay by my side, I suppose you still can p>
“I want you to kill Natalie. I’ll pay you ten thousand dollars a month. How about it p>
Colin forced a smile. “Joanna,
murder is illegal. If I get caught and rat you out, do you think you’ll get away? You’re pregnant right now, your temper is short and you’re emotional. I’ll just pretend i didn hear what you just said p>
“Here, drink up. It’s your favorite flavor p>
Colin held out the bubble tea with a smile.
She snatched it from him, stabbed the straw in, and took a long sip. Her mood improved slightly. She shot Colin a cold look. “Colin, everyone who stays by my side has to have value My two older brothers were both willing to hurt Natalie for my sake p>
“Do you know what the eldest did for me? He hired some thugs to go after Natalie, to ruin her p>
“And my second brother, he slandered her name for me. You’ve done a few things, but not as much as them. Why don’t you do something to hurt Natalie? Prove to me that you’re truly loyal to me, and that Natalie is the sister you truly hate p>
