The fact that someone like Daniel, someone I had always thought I could step on and squash beneath my feet, was the one coming forward to question me, to challenge me, told me that Baxter had some kind of power.

He had made that pathetic man believe he would be safe even after going up against me.

However, little did they know, I had taken the medicine the minute I was about to enter the theater.

I could already feel something different in my body.

However, it was slightly different from what I had felt earlier that morning.

It was the same medicine, but maybe because I already felt so threatened by Baxter’s presence, it seemed as though my body would explode.

Then, suddenly, Gina’s words echoed in my mind.
