Chapter 461
Anastasia’s answers were nothing short of flawless.
There were insights on her paper that no one else would have even thought of.
But after the initial wave of shock, the room quickly regained its composure. Orıginal content can be found at
So what if the answers were perfect? It’s not like Anastasia came up with them herself.
Who knew which genius she’d roped in to help her cheat? The logic behind her responses was so unusual-so brilliant-it left people both amazed and excited. If only they had a chance to learn from whoever had actually solved those problems…
While everyone was busy speculating, Mr. Lockwood turned to Anastasia and said, “I’ve read this exam several times, and I’m still puzzled by a few sections. Anastasia, would you come up and walk us through your answers?”
Anastasia instantly understood what Mr. Lockwood was doing-he was giving her an opportunity to prove herself, to show everyone that these answers were genuinely her own.
She shot him a grateful glance and nodded. “Of course.”
She walked confidently to the front, standing in front of the projector screen.
In the rows of seats, her peers whispered among themselves, voices thick with skepticism.
“How’s she going to talk her way out of this one?”
“She probably doesn’t even understand half the things she wrote!”
Someone snickered. “Where’d she get the nerve to actually agree to explain all this?”
“She’s about to make a complete fool of herself,” another said with a smirk.
Anastasia ignored all the stares and muttered remarks. Calm and composed, she stood before the room and began, methodically explaining her answers from the very first problem.
“What is she even saying someone scoffed.
But as she continued, the heckler’s voice faded, trailing off into silence.
A few students exchanged uneasy glances. Someone whispered, “Why do I get
the feeling she actually knows what she’s talking about
Of course Anastasia wasn’t bluffing. Her explanations were clear and insightful each step thought
through and perfectly articulated.
matter which concept she
discussed, she handled it with ease, never once stumbling or hesitating.
Within three minutes, the room had fallen completely silent.
Everyone stared at her, wide-eyed, unable to believe what they were seeing-a young woman speaking with such confidence and clarity, answering every question with poise.
Mr. Lockwood was practically beaming by the end, his eyes shining with admiration as he listened to this brilliant girl unravel complex problems as if they were child’s play.
His earlier comments about being puzzled hadn’t been a pretense. He really hadn’t understood some parts of her work. But as he listened to Anastasia’s explanations, everything suddenly clicked into place was a revelation he felt as though a burst of light had illuminated the whole subject.
To have such a gifted student here at Global Harmony Medical Institute, and to be
the one to witness it firsthand-what incredible luck!
Yet, someone this talented should have already made a name for herself. How
had he never heard of Anastasia before?
Anastasia noticed the shift in the crowd-their disbelief and awe-but she stayed focused, moving smoothly through the rest of the test.
Before long, she’d finished explaining every question.
She looked out over the silent classroom, smiled, and asked, “Any questions?”
No one responded. Everyone was still in shock.
Erin and Cora were especially stunned. They were close friends with Lauren, who
had always hinted that Anastasia was completely useless.
After hearing it so many times, they’d come to believe it.
But now? There was no way this was the same girl Lauren had described as a failure.
Just from her explanations, it was obvious-Anastasia was more capable than any of them.
Cora glanced uncertainly at Lauren and whispered, “Lauren, didn’t you say Lauren’s expression was grim.
She knew perfectly well now-Anastasia was no failure.
She’d had her suspicions before, but seeing the truth laid out so plainly left her completely unprepared. For a moment her thoughts were a jumbled mess, anxiety and panic rushing in all at once.
