Penelope lay sprawled on the pavement, wailing in agony, a pool of blood

Anastasia didn’t notice his stare. She quickly got to her feet, shot a cold glance at Penelope and the driver, and dialed Logan as she helped Benson onto the rapidly arriving ambulance.

Lady Lancaster knew her grandson’s usual cold demeanor well, so the fact that he’d come to visit her of his own accord brought her genuine joy.
“Why didn’t you bring Anastasia with you?” she asked with a smile. She knew her grandson’s transformation was all thanks to Anastasia, and her fondness for her granddaughter-in-law had only grown deeper.
