Harrison glanced at her but said nothing as he set her down.
Anastasia took a few steps on her own, then suddenly stopped.

Anastasia had her arms looped around Harrison’s neck, her long, slender legs swinging lazily in the air. She looked completely unbothered. “What are you staring at? Haven’t you ever seen a man carry his wife before?”
Marcus was speechless, but finally managed to retort, “If you really can’t walk, I can lend you my wheelchair.”
Before Anastasia could reply, Harrison cut in, his voice calm but unmistakably warning, “Marcus, show your sister-in-law some respect.”
