In the car, Logan spoke up in surprise.

She protested immediately, “No way! I signed up for the class, didn’t I? Skipping would be disrespectful to the professor.”
Harrison pressed his lips into a thin line, staring at the top of her head with an inscrutable expression.

As soon as Anastasia left, Harrison instructed Logan, “Contact Helen. Ask her what Ana’s been up to lately.”
In her classroom, Helen bit her lip in frustration when she received the message.
What’s so special about Anastasia? Sure, she has a pretty face, but why does she get all this attention from the boss?
