Chapter 690
Another message followed. “I can confirm. Mr. Lancaster is married. Let’s drop it. He was furious just now because someone tried to guess what he wanted and let Ms. Lancaster into his office. Gordon from the secretarial pool already got fired over it.”
The group chat fell silent.
No one dared to post in the main channel, but private chats exploded.
“Mr. Lancaster is married? Since when?!”
“Who did he marry? Does anyone know?”
“No idea who she is, but she’s absolutely gorgeous! I just saw her with my own eyes!!”
Up on the top floor, Harrison pulled Anastasia into his arms. “Still angry?”
Anastasia wrapped her arms around his neck. “You really don’t know her well?”
“I really don’t,” Harrison said, a hint of exasperation in his voice. “Do you not believe me, Ana?”
Anastasia pouted. Of course she believed him; it was just the whole situation that bothered her.
“Don’t you ever talk to her again,” she huffed.
Harrison held her close, pressing a soft kiss to her cheek, happy to indulge her. “I never did in the first place.”
That seemed to soothe her.
Seeing her so full of jealousy, Harrison felt a strange sense of satisfaction, even as his annoyance with Crystal lingered. He threaded his fingers through her hair. “If you don’t want other people getting close to me, why don’t you come to work with me from now on?”
Anastasia’s eyes lit up. For a moment, she was tempted, but after some thought, she shook her head.
“I’d better not.”
If she were here, he would undoubtedly be distracted, and his work would suffer. Besides, he was so busy he wouldn’t have much time to spend with her anyway. She just be sitting around by herself. She might as well be doing her own thing.
Since she was against the idea, Harrison didn’t press the issue. He stroked her head gently. “Let’s go home.”
As they left the office, he took her hand without a second thought, completely unconcerned by the curious stares of his employees.

“She’s so beautiful! No wonder she captured Mr. Lancaster
“Mr. Lancaster is really married?! How did we not hear a single thing about this!”
Feeling the intense gazes from all directions, Anastasia looked up at him. “You’re doing this on purpose, aren’t you?”
“Doing what on purpose?” Harrison asked, his face impassive.
Anastasia hugged his arm, her expression saying, *Don’t deny it, I see right through you.* “Letting everyone know about us, of course!”
Harrison no longer denied it, a smile touching his dark eyes. “And you don’t want people to know about our relationship?”
“Of course not!” she replied instantly, then blushed at her own quickness.

Anastasia was speechless.
Seeing her at a loss for words, a deep, fond amusement filled Harrison’s eyes.
As the elevator doors closed, the employees finally dared to gossip openly. “Wow, I never knew Mr. Lancaster could be so gentle!”
