But now, that rooftop restaurant had been redesigned from scratch by her husband, just for her—a surprise created with her in mind. Letting someone else use it? What was the point of that?

Harrison’s gaze swept coolly toward the commotion. He ruffled Anastasia’s hair affectionately. “No. That place belongs to you, and you alone.”
He’d bought out the entire restaurant just to surprise his wife. No way would he let anyone else set foot in it.
He’d made it clear to management long ago: from now on, the top floor was permanently closed to the public. Only Anastasia was allowed up there.

At the entrance, the manager was struggling to keep Shirley and her entourage at bay.

Just as he was about to cave, Logan’s call came through.
The manager answered, and after hearing the instructions, a look of surprise flashed across his face. He hung up, straightened his spine, and his whole demeanor changed.

With that, he signaled for security, who quickly assembled to escort Shirley and her group out.
