As they were leaving the Clark family’s home, Anastasia lingered behind to speak with Marlon. “Thank you for your help today, Mr. Clark.”

Marlon replied, “It was just a small favor, Ms. Sterling. Please don’t mention it.”

Indeed, the favor Anastasia had asked for was to switch the patient and use the bed curtains to conceal her identity.

I happened to mention your wife’s condition, and Mr. Austin and Mr. Brown heard about it. They’d like to come and take a look, if that’s convenient for you.”

Knowing the tragedy that had befallen Mrs. Clark in her past life, Anastasia had no intention of standing by and doing nothing.

However, if she were to expose Steven or treat Mrs. Clark herself, she doubted Marlon would trust her.

So, she decided to bring in Bruno.

Anastasia nodded. “Yes. Is that convenient?”
