Chapter 134
“Oh my god, sis!”
A startled cry rang out as the Sinclairs hurried down the stairs.
Julian was at the front, immediately snapping, “how could you hit my sister?”
At the sight of them, Gabriel’s face darkened at once.
“What are you doing here?!”
Julian shrugged, “Well, my sister’s apartment was too cramped, so we decided to move in here.”
The Sinclairs had crashed at the Sterling family’s place before, so to them, this was just business as usual.
But Gabriel’s expression was downright menacing. “Who said you could live here? Pack your things and get out. All of you-out, now!”
The Sinclairs stared at him in shock, convinced they must have misheard.
“Honey!” Nora lifted her hand from her cheek, looking up with watery eyes. “You heard what Mr. Harrison Lancaster said, didn’t you? Are you really just going to leave us to fend for ourselves?”
“Shut your mouth!” Gabriel’s voice was icy. “You know damn well those were Mr. Harrison Lancaster’s words, don’t you?”
He glared at the whole Sinclair family. “All you people ever do is drag us down. You’d better go willingly-head back to the countryside where you belong, before you bring the Sterlings down with you!”
Nora’s face turned deathly pale, then flushed red with humiliation.
Gabriel turned to storm out, but suddenly his phone buzzed. Glancing at the screen, his expression shifted from anger to a cold, murderous fury as he spun around to glare at Nora.
“You have three hundred million dollars?”
Nora blanched, forcing a shaky smile. “Honey, what are you talking about
“Still trying to lie to me?” Gabriel cut her off, voice rising in anger. “Anastasia just told me the dividends you handed over while managing her shares were way off. I’m asking you—is it true?!”
Nora’s eyes went wide, her face twisting in disbelief.
She hadn’t stolen a penny of Anastasia’s dividends! And how the hell did that little brat know she had three hundred million?!
“Honey, I didn’t-”
Gabriel didn’t believe her for a second. He raised his hand and slapped her again, trembling with rage. “Liar! The company’s in trouble, I’m out begging for help, and you’re stashing my daughter’s money behind my back?!”
“By tonight, you’d better hand over every last cent of that three hundred million. If you don’t, we’re going straight to the courthouse for a divorce!”
With that, he stormed out, slamming the door behind him.
Nora crashed onto the sofa, her face ashen and her eyes bloodshot, chest heaving with rage.
She wanted nothing more than to storm over to Rosewood Manor and wring Anastasia’s neck.

“What’s gotten into Gabriel?” Julian and the rest of the Sinclairs could sense disaster looming and rushed to Nora’s side.
Nora, seething, spat out what Harrison had said.
Julian and their mother, Mrs. Sinclair, went chalk white, slumping onto the floor in despair.
“Mr. Harrison Lancaster?! When did we ever offend someone that powerful?”
Rosewood Manor-Mr. Harrison Lancaster! Just the mention of that name was enough to make people tremble.
Their family was so low on the social ladder, they didn’t even have the right to set foot near Rosewood Manor. How could they have possibly angered someone like that?
Nora shot her daughter a venomous glare for keeping secrets. “Don’t you get it by now? Mr. Harrison Lancaster is the man Anastasia married!”
“If you cross Anastasia, you cross Mr. Harrison Lancaster!”
And now, just because Anastasia was upset, he was making sure the Sinclairs left Fairhaven the same way they came with nothing to their name.
It felt like the sky was crashing down on them.
Delia could barely form the words. “Anastasia… married Mr. Harrison Lancaster?”
Rosewood Manor.
Anastasia ended her call with one of the Sterling family’s housekeepers.
Realizing she’d finally caught Nora in a trap, her mood soared.
Nora hadn’t actually stolen her dividends-not for lack of trying, but because she was too afraid her grandfather’s family would find out.
