Chapter 693
Anastasia’s cold gaze bore into the two siblings. She’d heard they were young when they took the Lancaster name, which meant Susan had started her affair years ago. How old had Harrison been then?
The Harrison of today was powerful, untouchable. But what about the young Harrison? His family had been torn apart at such a young age, and these three had shamelessly moved in. She could only imagine the humiliation he must have endured.
The thought made her want to get out of the car and slap them both.
Lennon and Crystal, oblivious to her inner turmoil, were reeling from her blunt insults. Crystal’s face flushed with shame, while Lennon’s turned into a mask of pure rage.
“Get out of the car, Anastasia!” he roared, kicking the car door violently. Any lustful thoughts he’d had were gone, replaced by the raw fury of having his origins thrown in his face.
This time, Crystal didn’t stop him. She thought Anastasia deserved to be taught a lesson.
From inside the car, Anastasia remained perfectly calm. As Lennon reared back for a second kick, she sneered, “Go on. Why don’t you kick me, too, when I get out? I just wonder if you’ll still be alive to regret it.”
She then turned to her driver and said calmly, “Call my husband.”
Lennon and Crystal both flinched. Crystal immediately grabbed her brother’s arm, forcing a stiff smile.
“Ms. Sterling, it’s just a small misunderstanding. There’s no need to bother him. He’s such a busy man
Anastasia’s eyes snapped up to meet hers. “You are not worthy of speaking his name.”
Crystal’s expression froze again. She clenched her fists for a second
before plastering the smile back on
her face. “My brother was just a bit hot headed. We only wan
invite you to his birthday party. Since you’re busy, we won’t disturb you
any further.”
With that, she dragged Lennon away. He shot one last venomous glare over his shoulder, still seething. Who didn’t treat him with the utmost respect calling him “Mr. Lancaster”? How dare this woman humiliate him like that?
But as furious as he was, he allowed Crystal to pull him away. He could handle Anastasia, but getting Harrison involved was another matter entirely.
After one last, snake-like glare at Anastasia, Lennon got back in his car with Crystal.
Anastasia scoffed and looked away.
“Ma’am, should I still make the call?” the driver asked.
“No, that won’t be necessary.” It had just been a bluff. They were minor annoyances, not worth bothering her husband over.
As their car pulled away, Lennon glanced in the rearview mirror, his eyes dark. “That little bitch. I’ll show her. Just you wait
Crystal hesitated. “Maybe we should just let it go. If you keep provoking her, what if you anger *him*?”
“Then it just proves Harrison is weak
if I can steal his woman right from under his nose,” Lennon sneered. “So what if she’s his? I’ll show everyone that I’m every bit his equal.” He was convinced hisway with women was far superior Harrison’s. He would have Anastasia, and he couldn’t wait to see the look on Harrison’s face
when it happened.
The thought of cuckolding his rival filled Lennon with a twisted sense of glee. Follow current novels on.net
