It was three hours later when they arrived back home.

Harrison had a lot of work piled up after taking so many days off, so he had to head to the company not long after they walked in the door.

Anastasia felt a pang of sympathy. As he was leaving, she tied his tie for him and said with puffed cheeks, “When will you not have to work so hard p>

“Soon,” Harrison promised, kissing the top of her head.

He was used to keeping everything under his own control, which naturally kept him busy. But now that he had his Ana, it was a habit he needed to change.

The company was important, but being with her was more so.

He hadn’t told Anastasia any of this, but he was already in a transition period. He was sure it wouldn’t be long before he could relax and have much more time to spend with her.

After seeing Harrison off, Anastasia thought of Susan, and then remembered it was time for Carter’s check-up. She picked up her medical kit and headed out as well.

When she arrived, she rang the

doorbell, and a maid immediately came to open the door. “Ms. Sterling,

you’re fiere. The master mentioned

this morning that you would be

coming for the young master’s

check-up today. He was right.
