“My baby… my baby!” The lower half of Susan’s dress was stained with blood. She clutched her stomach, her face pale as a sheet. Suddenly, she looked up at the top of the stairs and let out an enraged accusation, “Anastasia! Why did you push me p>
The surrounding onlookers immediately turned their shocked gazes toward Anastasia.

“How could she be so vicious p>
Anastasia’s expression remained unchanged. The moment Susan hurled her accusation, the corners of her lips curled up slightly. *Finally*, she thought.
So that was it. She knew Susan hadn’t invited her out today just because she had nothing better to do.
Amidst the condemning and angry stares, she calmly and unhurriedly walked down the stairs and glanced at Susan on the floor.

In the chaos, the ambulance arrived, and Susan was taken to the nearest private hospital.
Anastasia calmly made a call to Harrison and then followed them.
The first to arrive was Ryan, followed by Carter and Crystal. By then, the verdict was
in: the doctor announced that Susan had miscarried.
“Ryan!” Susan, her face streaming with tears, threw herself into Ryan’s arms the moment he got close. “How could this happen? How could this happen! I was so careful every day, feeling him grow, looking forward to his birth and hearing him call me Mom. How could he just be gone p>
Hearing this, Crystal angrily directed her fury at Anastasia.
