Chapter 1004
Chapter 1013:
Milton didn’t respond, and the office they were in fell into dead silence. Raul contemplated what Milton was going through and thought to himself silently, “Milton never mentioned Arlo’s disappearance before. Now he’s keeping his mouth shut about Candice, too.” Somehow, he could sense that these two were connected.
Raul squatted down before gently patting Milton on the shoulder. “Milton, do you remember that time your aunt intervened during the celebration party? We failed to force Bart out of his deputy CEO position. Over the past two months, he grew even more unscrupulous. He even stretched his hand into the financial business and attempted to own the subsidiaries. I can’t always keep an eye on him by myself. I need you to cheer up and help keep a vigilant watch on him. He’s never going to stop.”
“Leave. It’s my business, not yours,” Milton suddenly uttered, his face devoid of any emotion.
Raul was stunned, thinking that Milton wanted to be alone for a while. So he replied, “Alright. I’ll talk to you later.”
“No. I mean… Go and leave the Royal Garden Corporation.” Milton stared blankly at the door.
Raul thought he had heard it wrong. He forced a smile and joked, “Don’t be ridiculous. There’s no time for all this nonsense.”
“No, I’m serious,” Milton replied, standing up and walking toward his desk. He opened one of the drawers and withdrew a thick stack of documents, throwing them in front of Raul.
“You can’t always stay here. Aren’t you still curious about the truth of your mother’s whereabouts?” Milton continued. “A few years ago, I founded a company in your name. The Hinks family was linked to the electrical energy project in Ockdale. That’s why I insisted on taking over this special project. Now, I’m handing it all over to you.”

“The project in Denm was tailored for you as well. I’m certain that, in time, you’ll be able to restore the previous energy oligarchy to its former glory and defeat the Hinks family once and for all. I’ve transferred all the relevant Denm shares to your name last month. Those will ensure you’re able to go head-to-head with the Hinks family. Don’t worry. I’m investing an additional 30 billion dollars in your company as the payment for your hard work over the years.”
Milton then handed over all the relevant documents to Raul and explained, “Here’s the Certification of Legal Representative, the Tax Registration Certificate, the Equity Transfer Agreement, and the Capital Injection Statement. You have everything you need. Take them with you.”
Raul was stunned. He couldn’t believe what he had heard. “Are you driving me away?”
Furious, he grabbed Milton’s collar and swiftly demanded, “Are you out of your mind? You know Bart is covetous about the position. Your aunt is attempting to canvass support everywhere she can. The directors are all scheming against each other. And right now, at this critical moment, is when you want me to leave?”
