Chapter 327

Chapter 327:
“Got it, Dr. Harman. I will handle it,” she replied obediently.
Sensing the uncertainty in Essie’s behavior, Greyson promised, “You won’t be held responsible. I’ll shift the blame to the archives department.”
“Yes, sir,” Essie replied with a nod.
“If anyone comes to ask about the patient’s situation—”
Before Greyson could finish, Essie quickly interjected, “Don’t worry, sir. I will keep it a secret.”
“No. Hand all the falsified information over to those who ask,” Greyson said while waving his hand.
“Well…” Essie mumbled in shock.
“Just do as I say,” Greyson said with a frown.
“Yes, sir,” Essie replied, nodding.
Just then, there was a knock on the office door.
Essie glanced at Greyson and reminded him, “Sir, the patient is here. Please hide for a moment.”
“Okay,” Greyson agreed and quickly hid in the compartment.
Candice sat down after entering the doctor’s office and asked anxiously, “Dr. Murray, what’s wrong with me? I went to the bathroom after the ultrasound and found more blood discharge. There was more blood compared to this morning.”
Since Essie had falsified Candice’s ultrasound report, she turned her screen toward Candice and assured her while pointing at the screen, “There are no problems. See, the fetus is healthy. There is no sign of miscarriage, and your HCG blood levels are within the normal range. This is not an early sign of miscarriage. Don’t worry.”
“Are you sure? But what about the bleeding?” Candice asked, still feeling doubtful.
Essie replied calmly, “Everyone’s condition is unique. Some women even take several months to find out they are pregnant because they have slight bleeding during pregnancy. Your discharge is considered low. It is not a problem.”

Candice was confused but still uneasy. She asked, “Dr. Murray, I’m worried. This is my first pregnancy, and I don’t know how to handle this. Is there any medicine you can prescribe to protect the baby? Or maybe an injection?”
Essie glanced at Candice and replied, “I can tell you care about this baby very much. As a mother, it’s normal to get nervous when something seems wrong. Don’t worry too much.”
“Okay,” Candice replied, nodding reluctantly.
“Well, all I can do is prescribe some medicine for you,” Essie said lightly as she selected two hemostatic drugs from the system. Although she knew the medicine would only cover up the truth, she had no choice. She had to do it for her future.
After prescribing the medicine, Essie informed Candice, “The medicine is ready. You can collect it at the pharmacy. Don’t forget to get more rest, keep a good state of mind, and come back for your regular check-ups.”
