Chapter 868
Chapter 871:
Observing her angry posture, Milton chuckled. He had lost his control and worn her out.
He had sex with her first in the dressing room, and then dragged her to the bathroom to continue. Candice was so exhausted that she fell asleep in the bathtub.
“Are you angry? It’s not entirely my fault tonight. You can only blame yourself. You kept trying on those beautiful clothes. I have every reason to suspect that you tried to seduce me,” Milton defended himself.
Candice was too tempting that night. The pure white dress perfectly outlined her stunning silhouette, which remained partly hidden and partly visible. It wasn’t his fault that he ended up losing control.
Candice widened her eyes in disbelief. “Seriously? How could you come up with such an excuse? That’s ridiculous.” This guy was incredibly self-absorbed.
Not only did he go back on his word, but he also shifted the blame onto her.
Candice felt a surge of frustration and turned away, vowing not to respond to Milton that night.
At that moment, Milton gently patted her on the back of her head and asked, “What would you like to eat now?”
Hearing his question, Candice turned back to face him. What could she possibly eat in the middle of the night? Was he implying something?
Candice stared into his lustful eyes, her own widening.
“Don’t even think about it!”
Milton was taken aback. He had simply asked if she was hungry, considering the amount of energy she had expended that night. What did she mean by that?
He appeared to grasp the situation all of a sudden. His eyes widened in surprise. “What do you mean? Are you misunderstanding something?”
Candice blushed, realizing she had misinterpreted his intentions. Milton smirked mischievously. “So it seems you’ve been indulging in flirtatious thoughts all day long.”

Flustered and irritated, Candice shot back, “I learned it from you!” Milton cleared his throat. Indeed, he had taught her personally.
“Why don’t you learn something more wholesome?” Milton said pretentiously.
Candice quickly retorted, silently cursing him for being shameless, “You never taught me anything wholesome!” Milton was left speechless.
He closed his phone, deciding to leave the business matters for the following day.
“It’s late. Let’s go to bed,” Milton suggested, embracing Candice.
“I don’t want to sleep,” Candice resisted.
“I meant just sleep. Stop overthinking.” Milton chuckled, finding Candice’s cat-like resistance amusing. How could he be so terrible?
“I’m going upstairs to sleep. Let go of me,” Candice struggled to get free. He was too unpredictable, too dangerous. If she continued to stay with him, Milton might lose control at any moment.
“I promise, honey. Go to sleep. I have important matters to attend to tomorrow morning. I won’t do anything to you,” Milton reassured Candice, gently holding her.
