Chapter 799
Chapter 799:
The assistant bowed her head apologetically and responded, “You’re right, Miss Blake. I apologize for my mistake. I’ll deal with it immediately. Let me check it out one last time. I’ve never seen such a high-end sports car before, especially not one tailored for a lady.”
True to her words, the assistant gestured ahead and squeezed through the crowd, with Candice following suit.
Conversations erupted amongst the onlookers.
“Who parked that fancy car here? Did its owner go upstairs?”
“Wow, this is cool! Is it a Lamborghini, right?”
“It must be a custom creation. I scoured the entire Internet earlier, but I couldn’t find anything like it. The closest mention was a concept car, hinting at the release of a white sports car with remarkable functionality. This could be it!”
“So, the owner bought the concept car before it hit the market? How much would it cost?”
“Who knows? It must be worth millions, no doubt.”
“Remarkable! Only a select few women in Ploville can afford such extravagance. I wonder who it belongs to?”
“The car is parked downstairs at the Royal Garden Corporation’s affiliated building. My guess is that it has some connection to the corporation.”
Candice followed the assistant’s pointed finger and turned her gaze in that direction.
An immaculate white sports car occupied the central spot, emanating an aura of refined elegance through its metallic sheen. The wheels alone sported a sleek black color, while the rest of the car seamlessly merged into a single entity.
Its sleek contours exuded a sense of unparalleled dignity. The vehicle was so extraordinary and captivating that even Candice, who harbored an aversion toward cars, couldn’t help but steal a few more glances at it. It dawned on Candice that the owner of this extravagant car was likely Sigrid.

Did Sigrid deliberately park the car downstairs to catch her attention?
The thought sparked a sense of discontent within Candice.
Voicing her dissatisfaction, she remarked, “Someone clearly lacks consideration, parking their car here for all to see!”
Candice rallied the assistant and the receptionist with a determined tug, saying, “Come on, let’s get going. No time to spectate. There’s still a mountain of work waiting. Did anyone pop by the front desk looking for me?”
The receptionist shook her head and replied, “Miss Blake, no one’s been inquiring about you today. We just got downstairs. That car’s been parked there for over an hour. I even spotted it because the news went viral online. Someone posted a snapshot of the lavish Lamborghini. So, I decided to step out and broaden my horizons.”
Candice nodded, realizing that the car wasn’t Sigrid’s after all.
