Chapter 685
Chapter 685:
What had she endured? Why had someone forced her against her will? And why did she accept it? Coming from a wealthy and influential family, with a powerful brother, why hadn’t she sought help? And why had she gotten herself so drunk?
Bettina lay quietly in the bathtub, finding solace in the warm water.
Almost instinctively, she reached out and wrapped her arms around Raul’s neck, clinging to him for comfort.
Raul took a deep breath.
Though he believed he shouldn’t feel this way, he couldn’t deny his desire.
The temptation was irresistible.
He gently pulled her away from his body, averted his gaze, and tried not to look at her. He dried her hair and body haphazardly with a towel. Then, he carried her out and wrapped her in a large bath towel.
After finishing these tasks, he let out a heavy sigh of relief. Fatigue overwhelmed him, and he felt on the verge of collapse. The weight of the intoxicated woman was particularly burdensome.
After a few deep breaths, he fetched a large T-shirt and dressed her in it.
The loose shirt hung like a dress, reaching down to her thighs.
He carefully carried her back to the bed and tucked her in.
Helplessness washed over him. He hoped that after the bath, she would stop vomiting.
Exhausted, Raul entered the bathroom and meticulously cleaned every nook and cranny. He turned on the ventilator and sprayed a hint of perfume, leaving the bathroom fresh and fragrant.
Finally, he discarded his soiled and wet clothes, tossing them into the laundry basket before indulging in a refreshing shower.
While showering, he faintly heard someone singing outside.
Was it Bettina? Oh man! Couldn’t she just give him a break? She had just stopped vomiting. Was she starting to do crazy things now that the alcohol was kicking in?

He quickly finished his shower, put on his pajamas, and rushed out of the bathroom.
When he entered the spare room, he was shocked once again. Bettina was wearing his T-shirt, singing and dancing wildly, intoxicated and out of control.
Raul rubbed his forehead helplessly, worried that her loud noise would disturb the neighbors.
After singing a few lines, Bettina seemed to feel discomfort in her throat and stopped singing, but she continued dancing with even more enthusiasm.
She swayed and twirled, performing the rumba, a dance known as the dance of love and a prominent Latin style.
She danced extremely well, with charming movements, graceful and lingering steps, and a gentle, elegant posture, exuding an amorous vibe.
Raul was nearly stunned. He hadn’t expected her to have such a seductive side. She radiated an irresistible sensuality that would test the restraint of any ordinary man.
