Chapter 911
Chapter 915:
She continued to shower him with kisses, her long lashes fluttering closed, her cheeks blushing a soft rosy hue. Milton could sense the passion and eagerness radiating from her.
He reached out, encircling her waist with his arms. While he was delighted by her initiative, confusion lingered in his mind. For the past two days, this petite woman had kept her distance, avoiding any physical contact. What had caused this sudden change in her demeanor this morning? As he kissed her back, he gazed at her, gently brushing her disheveled hair behind her ear and cupping her cheeks with his hands.
Candice’s excitement was evident, her breath coming in short, eager gasps. Their kiss, though slightly unskilled, was filled with an intoxicating energy that only grew as they continued. The rhythm was imperfect, but that added a seductive allure that captivated them both.
A mischievous smile crossed Milton’s face as he pressed her down, taking control.
Gasping, he whispered in her ear, “Do you want to risk being late for work today?”
His voice was teasing, filled with playful flirtation.
Candice didn’t respond with words. Instead, she wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him closer.
That simple act shattered Milton’s self-restraint.
“You’re asking for it. Don’t blame me later,” he warned, his words driving his actions further. He intended to make up for the past two days, for everything she had withheld.
By around nine o’clock, Candice found herself exhausted but satisfied. She glanced at the alarm clock, suddenly springing from the bed. Quickly, she threw on her clothes, muttering, “Oh my God! I have a court session at 10:30. I can’t be late.”
Milton looked at her, speechless. Whose fault was it? It was she who had seduced him that morning.
“I have a transnational meeting at 9 o’clock. I’m already late for it,” Milton emphasized.

Though he couldn’t fathom why Candice had suddenly become so lively that morning, he was pleased to see her like that. The transnational meeting didn’t matter to him at all.
As he watched her prepare to leave, Milton reached out and grasped her arm firmly. “Don’t forget what we agreed on Friday. Today is Monday,” he reminded her, implying that he had already informed her to visit the courthouse to obtain their marriage certificate.
Stunned, Candice replied, “I have a court session in the morning, and I need to get my driving license in the afternoon. Besides… Even if… We still need to make a prenuptial agreement. It’s a complex process that involves significant assets and shares. It can’t be done in just a few days.”
“There’s no need for a prenuptial agreement,” he said, his expression darkening.
Hearing those words, Candice was taken aback. After all, the Royal Garden Corporation was a massive company. Without a prenuptial agreement, it meant that she would be entitled to half of their shared assets.
Candice vigorously shook her head, vehemently rejecting the idea.
