Chapter 620
Chapter 620:
Milton’s expression softened slightly.
Still, he remained upset. “I don’t need it. You didn’t have to go to such lengths for me.”
He pulled Candice out of the villa and signaled to the driver waiting at the door.
“Stay here. I’ll send someone to collect the evidence and bring it back to Ploville. Give me the car keys. I’ll take her away.”
The driver replied hurriedly, “Understood, Mr. Lopez.”
He respectfully handed the phone to Milton and said, “Mr. Lopez, your phone has been charged. Would you like to use it?”
“Okay.” Milton accepted the phone with one hand, switching it on while keeping a firm grip on Candice with the other. Candice tried to free herself several times, but he was holding her too tightly. She had no means to escape.
As Milton made a phone call to arrange the necessary details, he forcefully pulled Candice into the car.

Milton remained silent, driving down the winding mountain road without a word.
Candice’s curiosity got the better of her, so she asked again, “Where are we going? I don’t want to go to the Vital Hotel with you, and I have to go back to Ploville. The trial is coming up, and I have a lot of things to prepare.”
Giving her a cold glance, Milton replied, “We’re going to the airport. I’ve already arranged a private plane. Why would I take you to a hotel during the day?”
“Oh,” Candice mumbled, lowering her head shyly. She realized she had overthought things.
No wonder she thought she heard him mention booking a flight earlier when he was on the phone.

As they entered the downtown area, Candice suddenly felt a warm liquid flowing between her legs.
Startled, she quickly closed her legs. Oh no! Her period came early, and she hadn’t brought any sanitary pads!
Glancing out of the window, she noticed they were passing through the city center, with numerous shops around, including convenience stores.
Biting her lip, she blurted out, “Can you pull over? There’s a convenience store ahead. I need to buy something.”
Instinctively, Milton stepped on the brake to slow down the car and pulled over in front of a medium-sized convenience store by the roadside.
“What’s the matter?” he asked, turning to look at Candice.
As soon as Candice shifted slightly, she felt more warm liquid seeping out of her, leaving her unable to move.
What should she do now? It was difficult for her to explain the predicament she was in to him. She had planned to buy sanitary pads for herself, but now it seemed impossible. But if she did nothing, her trousers would be…
