Chapter 765
Chapter 766:
She didn’t have any memory of what happened before the age of eight. It was blank.
How could she say for sure that she knew everything?
Greyson knew that Candice was thinking about what he said. He looked at her sincerely.
“Candice, you have my word. I won’t tell a soul. I just want you to calm down. Also, you have to be very careful, okay?”
Candice was shocked, and her breath was erratic. She tried her best to not show the shock on her face.
After a while, she calmly raised her head and pasted a smile on her pale lips.
“Greyson, I will forget whatever you said to me today. You don’t have to worry about me anymore. Whatever my past, it had nothing to do with you.”
Then she pushed him away angrily and quickly walked towards Milton.
Candice held Milton’s arm and said, “Let’s go.”
He looked down at Candice and then at Greyson. He then looked back at Candice and asked, “Are you done?”
She nodded. “Yes, let’s go. Let’s not keep Jarrod waiting any longer. He has been outside for a long time.”
Candice then started to walk towards the hall without a backward glance. Milton felt the stiffness and did not bother to question her. However, he was confused. Milton frowned tightly, and a coldness spread across his face. What the hell did Greyson tell her?
The man in question stood quietly in the corridor and watched.
He felt annoyance when he noticed Milton and Candice walk away hand in hand. Irritated, he took out a cigarette and lit it.
Although it was a no-smoking area, Greyson could do whatever he wanted in his own territory.

One of the nurses saw it and quickly turned her face. She walked away in confusion but didn’t dare point out the obvious.
Greyson grew depressed as he puffed irritably.
His lie came to light in front of Candice. However, he was sure that she took whatever he said seriously.
Greyson shoved a hand in his pocket and suddenly felt the business card. He hesitated for a while as he fingered the card. Finally, when he took it out, there were only two words on it: Sigrid Olson.
Greyson hadn’t thrown the card away.
Sigrid had said, “Greyson, you will regret it. One day. One day you’ll come to me personally. You will beg me for my help. Mark my words!”
Greyson was lost in thought as he held the business card.
