Chapter 680
Chapter 680:
The restaurant was a stone’s throw away, and soon they arrived at the Blake family’s villa. A cadre of security guards kept watch by the entrance.
As they got in, Milton dialed Jarrod’s number, arranging for a half-past-ten pickup to the airport.
He parked the car by the villa, and Candice opened the door to go inside.
Milton got inside and tossed his coat toward Candice. “I’m off to take a shower. Assist me in packing my things. You know precisely what I require on a daily basis. No need for excess. I’ll procure it myself upon reaching Denm.”
Without another word, he promptly disappeared into the bathroom.
Clutching the coat, Candice was left speechless.
He issued directives with an air of nonchalance as if it were her job. What did she truly mean to him?
She stood in the living room, dazed, before eventually heading to pack his things.
With his preferences in mind, she selected two sets of clothes, complete with coordinating ties, accessories, watches, and his essentials. Everything was neatly arranged in the suitcase. His suitcase, a bespoke creation, boasted featherlight weight. Once everything was in order, she carried his suitcase to the doorway.
Additionally, she prepared a set of clothes for him to change into tonight, as she noticed he hadn’t taken clothes with him to the bathroom.
Regardless of the circumstances, he was departing on a business trip, which meant she could avoid sleeping with him this evening.
At the thought of that, she blushed.
Moments later, Milton emerged from the bathroom clad in a bathrobe.
His hair was thoroughly dried, and the slightly unfastened collar revealed a tantalizing glimpse of his chiseled chest.
The sight was mesmerizing and seductive.
Candice rose from the sofa, turning her back to face the wall. “Everything is ready. You can leave now.”

Suddenly, Milton advanced from behind, enveloping her in his arms. His soft lips grazed her neck, sending a shiver coursing through her.
Candice’s face grew hotter. Struggling, she urged, “Let go of me! It’s time for you to leave!”
Unexpectedly, he exerted pressure.
That caused her legs to weaken, and she sank onto the plush sofa.
He nibbled her earlobe and murmured, “There’s still time. I’m unwilling to leave you alone!”
It was almost twelve o’clock.
In the villa’s bathroom, the lamp remained unlit, its darkness barely pierced by dim streetlights filtering through the window. Candice nestled in the bathtub, the comforting warmth of the water enveloping her.
Milton had left some time ago, yet the imprints he left on her skin refused to fade.
Deliberately, she extinguished the light, unwilling to face the evidence of their encounter.
