Chapter 752
Chapter 752:
Milton rolled his eyes at her.
Candice had no choice but to remain silent.
At that moment, Bettina noticed that Milton was propped up against the bed. She hastily greeted him, “Mr. Lopez, you’re awake. Are you feeling alright?”
Observing Milton’s right arm suspended in a rack, Bettina asked, “Is your arm broken?”
Milton responded calmly, “It’s not a big deal.”
Raul approached them and glanced at Milton and Candice. Realizing that Candice was unharmed despite Milton’s injury, he expressed his concern. “Since you’re injured, take these days to rest. I’ll take care of the group’s business. Don’t worry about it.”
“Okay,” Milton replied, pulling Candice closer to his side.
Bettina noticed their intertwined fingers and averted her gaze, feeling a bit awkward. She suggested, “Candice, I don’t think you’ve eaten anything yet, right? Raul bought breakfast for all of us. Let’s have it together.”
“Yes, I wasn’t sure if you had eaten, so I got breakfast for everyone.” Raul reached into the bag and took out a variety of breakfast items, including waffles, milk sandwiches, and cakes.
“Milton, since you just woke up from a coma, it’s better to avoid greasy food. I got you a bowl of porridge.” Raul placed the porridge on the bedside table.
“Mr. Hinks, you’re so considerate.” Bettina grabbed a sandwich and began wolfing it down.
“Feed me,” Milton said, turning to Candice.
Blushing, Candice sat beside Milton and replied, “Okay.”
She opened the bowl, scooped up a spoonful of porridge, and checked its temperature. It was just right.
She moved the spoon closer to his lips, allowing him to take slow, graceful bites.

Candice delicately guided the spoonful of porridge to Milton’s lips once more. In response, Milton raised his left hand and returned the favor, playfully sliding the spoon into her mouth.
Caught off guard, Candice swallowed the porridge before fully comprehending the swift exchange.
Wearing a warm smile, Milton said gently, “You should eat too. Aren’t you hungry?”
A blush crept across Candice’s face. Their familiarity, openly displaying their affection by sharing a single spoon in the presence of others, embarrassed her to no end. Candice promptly shook her head and replied, “I’m not hungry. I’ll have a sandwich later.”
Bettina, unaffected by their intimate display, paid it no mind and simply carried on. Catching a glimpse of the burrito in Raul’s hand, she couldn’t resist commenting, “It looks delicious. I want to swap with you.”
Before Raul could recover from his shock, Bettina had swiftly snatched away his breakfast, which he had already consumed a substantial portion of.
Taking a generous bite, Bettina expressed her satisfaction. “Indeed, yours is better. How could you keep such delicious food all to yourself? That’s not fair.” Raul was speechless.
