Chapter 952
Chapter 958:
The GPS in his car had been on, so he had driven after her and saw that she had entered the Orlanduer Hotel.
Greyson followed her inside and waited in the lobby.
He concluded that Candice must have gotten the news that Milton would be there. He hadn’t attended the engagement party; instead, he was in the hotel. Greyson had guessed that Milton and Candice would break up tonight.
With conflicting emotions, he waited in the lobby. Although he didn’t want them to be together, he couldn’t bear to see Candice experience so much sadness and pain.
Greyson noticed that Candice hadn’t been upstairs for too long. Her dazed and stumbling figure confirmed his guess.
He quickly tried to reach her.
However, he was shocked to see her faint.
Greyson ran toward her. What happened to her?! Something was terribly wrong!
Dread grew in his chest.
At the same time, Milton also reached the lobby.
He had seen the entire scene.
Milton couldn’t help but watch as Candice slid to the ground.
His mind just stopped working, and he rushed forward like a madman.
As Milton approached, Greyson quickly stepped forward to stand in front of Candice.
He turned her over and gently helped her lie on her back.
Candice looked vastly different from her usual self. Her lips had turned almost purple, her eyes were shut, and she had fallen into a deep sleep. Without paying heed to any questions about Greyson’s presence, Milton squatted beside Candice, intending to help her up.

But he was stopped when he attempted to touch her. “Don’t touch her,” Greyson shouted firmly.
Milton suspected Candice was experiencing a PTSD attack and proposed in a commanding tone, “Let me give her mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.”
Greyson placed one hand on Candice’s wrist, holding his breath as he focused on detecting her pulse.
Suddenly, his eyes widened in surprise and fear. He pushed Milton away and immediately started performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation on Candice, urgently shouting, “Hurry up. Call an ambulance! We need to get her to the nearest hospital!”
Milton was pushed away by Greyson. He had never seen such an expression on Greyson’s face before. At this moment, he realized that the problem might be more serious than he had imagined. After all, Greyson was a doctor.
Milton immediately dialed the emergency number, his hands trembling from the shock of the situation. Greyson tried his best to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation on Candice, not daring to stop for a moment.
