But before Brooks could finish, Greyson cut him off. “You think she’s out for revenge? How amusing.” His tone was dripping with sarcasm. “I’m not afraid of her. After all the lies she’s told me over the years, she deserves whatever happens to her.”

“It’s quite simple, Brooks. We’ll attempt to lure Rachel in. Initially, we’ll encourage her to invest a portion of her money into the company, thereby providing her with some benefits. Once she has gained trust in the system, we’ll persuade her to invest all of her money in it. At this stage, we’ll dissolve the shell company overnight, leaving her with nothing.” A cold, unsettling smile crept over Greyson’s face.
“Got it. Mr. Harman, you want to take back the money.”
Brooks, the trusted aide, nodded in understanding, but before he could speak, Greyson interjected, his voice low and controlled.
“Not for money. All the money from her will be donated to charity directly.” The gravity of the statement hung heavy in the air.
