Milton sneered and replied confidently.
“Would my woman ever lack money? I can provide her with anything she desires. Warren Building Materials is insignificant.”
He turned his head, firmly grasping Candice’s chin with one hand, locking his deep gaze onto hers. After a few seconds, he unexpectedly leaned down to kiss her.
Candice reacted immediately. What was he trying to do? Did he really intend to kiss her in front of everyone? He must be out of his mind. Not to mention the public setting—the reporters’ cameras were only a few feet away.
Her instinct told her to dodge his kiss.
In a hushed tone, Milton said, “Play along with me.”
Without waiting for her response, he kissed her on the lips, leaving her with no choice but to comply.
Candice’s eyes widened in astonishment. She could hardly believe the lengths this man would go.
Milton boldly kissed her in public, and his kiss carried an undertone of chastisement. She had stopped him from kissing her that morning? Fine. Then he would just kiss her publicly.
In such a setting, Milton couldn’t prolong the kiss. He didn’t want others witnessing her captivating expression afterward.

Milton had no intention of keeping Corless’ cheating scandal hidden. It was, after all, advantageous for him.
All the reporters understood they could only publish approved content. Mr. Lopez clearly wanted to protect the woman by his side.
