The other night, he had gone too far. He had planned a dinner and a gift for her, but it all ended in chaos. Though he was usually good at controlling his emotions, lately, he found himself losing control more often.
He didn’t even know where Candice had moved. Bettina wouldn’t tell him, even if he asked.
He never expected Candice to be willing to give up the patent rights.
Greyson had assumed she was just being impulsive and would regret her decision in a few days.
He believed she would come crawling back, begging for forgiveness.

Greyson would study the chemical formula while Candice handled the legal loopholes. Living under the same roof would make it easier for them to communicate and discuss important matters.

“Hey, I need you to keep an eye on a woman named Candice Blake. She’s pregnant, and I need to know which hospital she usually goes to for examinations. Last time, she had a blood test and ultrasound at East Hospital. That’s your hospital. If she goes for another check-up there, let me know as soon as she registers. I need to be kept in the loop about everything. And make sure the doctor assigned to her follows your commands.”
The voice on the other end replied respectfully, “Don’t worry, Mr. Harman. I can handle this. What else can I do for you?”
Greyson’s frown deepened as he replied, “Nothing yet. I’ll tell you what to do. My hospital has decided to purchase the heart rack you mentioned before. Bring the sample and prepare the contract.”
