“I’m serious!” Bettina added. “By the way…”
She paused for a moment, reconsidering whether to say what was on her mind or not.
“What is it that you want to say?” Noticing Bettina’s forced smile, Candice reassured her, “I’m alright.”
“It’s about our law firm. Since I signed the contract, the office has been relocated to the affiliated building beside Royal Garden Corporation. I never had the courage to tell you… but now, I want to break the contract and move out as soon as possible…” Bettina felt embarrassed after confessing her earlier reluctance.
