Chapter 90:
Candice couldn’t see Milton’s expression with her back turned towards him.
The closeness between them made the warmth of his body felt through their clothes.
Her deep breaths almost caused her back to brush against his chest every now and then.
Slowly bending over, Milton breathed onto her neck, sending shivers down her spine. Memories of their intimate night flooded Milton’s mind as they stood in close proximity.
It was her. Thank goodness, it was her.
The memory of their encounter still made him feel good.
The thought of it almost made him lose control.
“Will you be attending the trial cruise of my yacht tomorrow? I’ll wait for you,” Milton said in a hoarse voice.
Candice couldn’t believe he had the audacity to ask such a question after everything that had happened. How could she possibly spend a night on a yacht with him?
“I declined your offer yesterday,” she replied coldly. “Are you married to Greyson?” He spoke each word in a cold, calculated tone.
Hearing that, Candice was left stunned.
She and Greyson? They had been married, but they were now divorced. However, there was no way for Candice to prove she had gotten a divorce.
But what did it have to do with Milton, anyway?
Candice didn’t answer, which Milton took as a yes.
“You’ve been in love with him for ten years?” Milton asked another question.
Once again, Candice was taken aback. How did he know? She had been harboring a secret love for Greyson for a decade, which only Bettina knew about. Not even Greyson himself was aware of it. In Greyson’s view, they had only known each other for the past three years. So how could Milton have known about her feelings?
Candice tried to recollect the events of the night when she was drunk. Had she let something slip while she was intoxicated?
But regardless of how he found out, what did it have to do with Milton?
“It’s none of your business. Get out of my way,” her voice dripped with anger.

“If you don’t get out of my way, I’ll call the police,” Candice said, her hand instinctively reaching for her phone in her pocket.
The man behind her was insufferable and obstinate.
He pushed her forward, further trapping her between himself and the door, making it impossible for her to move.
Candice let out a cry as he pressed himself firmly against her back.
His body radiated intense heat that was almost frightening. Candice felt trapped and helpless.
Milton grabbed her hand and snatched her phone away. He knew it was her other phone.
The one she used to contact her friends in her daily life. Holding Candice’s phone, he quickly dialed his own number until his own phone rang.
After getting her phone number, he put her phone back into her pocket and then let go of her.
The pressure behind Candice disappeared. She turned around and was about to push him away.
But he was quicker.
With a bang, Milton held the door with both hands and firmly locked it, trapping her in front of him.
She had her back to him just a moment ago, but now she was facing him.
Candice pressed her hands against his chest, trying to keep a distance from him.
“Milton Lopez? What are you doing?” she said angrily.
Such a short distance made it hard for her to think.
Even her side profile could feel his breath, very hot.
At this moment, Milton reached out his hand and gently pinched her chin, saying word by word, “Divorce him!” It sounded like an order.
Candice was first stunned and then instinctively asked,
An angry look appeared in Milton’s eyes. He bent down and kissed her without hesitation.
