Raul had just returned to Ploville last night after a one-month business trip. When he arrived, the first thing he did was hang out at a bar with some friends until late. Things got out of hand, and he stumbled back to his apartment in a drunken stupor.
At that time, Bettina was lying on the floor outside his apartment. He tripped over her and fell on her. As he helped her up, Bettina repeatedly begged to be let inside.
Finally, Raul managed to open the door, and Bettina staggered in after him. He was too drunk to remember what happened after that.
“Is this your room?” Bettina asked, looking around. Indeed, this was not Candice’s apartment.
It dawned on her that she must have been so drunk she stumbled into Raul’s apartment instead of Candice’s.
Oh God! What had she done?
Bettina subconsciously clutched her collar tighter.
Raul noticed her discomfort and his eyes darted to her exposed skin. He saw red marks on her neck—love bites.
He slapped his forehead. Damn it! Had he gotten drunk and had sex with Bettina without her realizing it?
But he couldn’t remember anything. He looked down at his disheveled clothes, wondering if they had hooked up.
The uncertainty left him confused and uneasy.
“What happened last night? Did we make love?” Raul hastily threw on a thin coat and turned to Bettina, his mind reeling with confusion.
Bettina’s beautiful eyes widened in disbelief. “You’re asking me? How would I know? Don’t you remember if we did?”
Raul was left speechless.
He had been so drunk that he couldn’t recall the previous night’s events. Although he didn’t think they had made love, he couldn’t be entirely sure. After all, how did the marks on Bettina’s body get there? They couldn’t have just appeared out of nowhere.

Bettina rubbed her forehead, feeling unsure herself if they had had sex. Her entire body ached, and she couldn’t deny the marks on her skin.
She got out of bed, walked into the bathroom, and stared at herself in the mirror.
Her short hair was a mess, but there was a wild beauty to her.
Last night, Bart had forcibly harassed her at the birthday party, leaving her with barely any clothing left on her body. Thankfully, she had a spare dress in her car. Although she could change her clothes, the marks on her body remained.
Bettina leaned weakly against the sink.
The events of last night were far too chaotic.
She couldn’t shake off the hurt gnawing at her because of Bart’s actions.
She had gotten drunk and ended up in bed with Raul. However, she couldn’t remember what happened between them. But then, what was the big deal? Why was she even thinking about this? It wasn’t like she could only have sex with Bart.
Hadn’t Bart hurt her enough?
